Ali Hossaini
Ali works at the cutting edge of art, technology and science, and is noted for cross-disciplinary work that addresses thorny problems. He is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering at King's College London. In this capacity, he serves as one of three Principal Investigators of the Health & Social Equity Collective. As a member of the IEEE Standards Association, he contributes to regulations for safe AI and brain-machine interface. In 2021 he published a primer on neurophysiology for engineers in Brain Computer Interfaces. In 2022 he called for a 'culture of ecology' in his chapter of The Next Renaissance, the manifesto of the EU's ICE (Innovation by Creative Economy) consortium. He is the co-founder and co-director of National Gallery X, a partnership with King's College London that seeks to engage culture more deeply with healthcare and well-being.
