Carlos Javier Vega Oroza

Carlos Javier Vega is an architect with expertise in urban projects focused on the collaborative transformation of public spaces. He has been an advisor to the Office of Management for Metropolitan Municipality of Lima in topic areas of public communal spaces, social impact, citizens relations and inter-management coordination. From 2019 to 2022 he led projects implemented by the Municipality of Lima and the Bernard Van Leer Foundation, including Urban95 Lima, Limeños al Bicentenario (Lima for the Bicentennial), and Lima te Cuida (Lima Takes Care of You). The projects bring together local government and urban entrepreneurs, prioritizing the well-being of babies and small children and their caregivers.
