Ormmas Rathayaanunt
Ormmas Rathayaanunt works as the community development coordinator and foreign relations officer at the Community Development Institute (CODI) in Thailand. She is passionate about people-driven and participatory processes, believing that people’s participation and networking are crucial to sustainability of community development. She has almost ten years of experience in the Baan Mankong secure land and tenure project, with processes of city-wide upgrading, a city development fund, and an implementation study of urban planning and neighborhood level urban development planning. She is the project coordinator for the World Bank project in Thailand called Community-based Livelihood Support for the Urban Poor. She received a bachelor's degree in law from Thammasat University and a master’s degree in Urban Planning: Developing and Transitional Region at Oxford Brookes University.
